The "Scottish Round"

What began in a small circle in 1999 has long since become a big event. Twice a year, the hosts of the TF partner houses meet to celebrate together and take a tour of the hosts' territory.

This year's autumn meeting was the fortieth of these so-called specialist meetings and was organised by the team of the Landhotel Gärtner in Mücke-Flensungen in central Hesse. And because this is close to the former race track of Schotten and the sunny autumn weather couldn't have been better, everyone set off for the "Scottish Round": Direction Laubach, home of the designer legend Friedel Münch, then on the winding B 276, past the "Bikertreff Falltorhaus", up to Hoherodskopf, on to Schlitz with the oldest distillery in Germany and via Lauterbach back to the hotel on the most beautiful roads. There, the kitchen was waiting with an excellent buffet. Perfect - but unfortunately also these two "holidays" went by much too fast.
