This family-run hotel is located in the middle of the forest and yet close to the city. The name Mellestollen comes from the nearby tunnel where iron ore was once mined. The house is an ideal starting point for day trips into the romantic Schwarzatal with its many bends, the Saaletal with the Thuringian Sea and the Thuringian Forest; on request accompanied by a tour guide. When you arrive at the hotel, a "cool blonde" is waiting for you and the rooms and the restaurant with Thuringian cuisine invite you to stay - welcome!
